EducDesign SA demonstrates OLEFA technology
CELULA, Bettembourg, Luxembourg - June 25, 2002 - EducDesign SA demonstrates the latest build of its OLEFA XL Server System and its enormous advantage in an educational setting to a selected audience of teachers and schools' web and library administrators. OLEFA is a powerful solution that can be used in any context, including business, administration and education.
The modules presented are the CMS (Content Management System) and the OLEFA Wiki management system as used in the elementary schools in Roeser, Luxembourg (www.roeserschool.lu). In this school community over 400 students have access to the OLEFA powered webserver which at present contains a total of over 12.000 files. The teachers take advantage of the OLEFA database and networking technology to run their local and online versions of the school library and the stock of their teaching material.
Above all the solution clearly enhances the productivity and autonomy of students and teachers. It sustains their collaborative work and helps them organise and publish information and facilitates access to it.
"As soon as many people start to work simultaneously, collaboratively and on a regular basis, the amount of data produced will be hard to manage and structure," said EducDesign's Jos F. Kirps. "OLEFA offers powerful ready-made tools to administrate, organize, modify, publish and search many types of data. With OLEFA, defining workgroups and user access on the fly is easier than ever."
