Educdesign SA releases OLEFA 1.5.2
EDUCDESIGN, Bettembourg, Luxembourg - 09, 2005 - EducDesign SA today released their latest version of the OLEFA software (version 1.5.2 | build 5J1414) which enables the new OLEFA EiS technology which currently offers professional address managament as well as the OLEFA ticket request system (TRS, customer support management). OLEFAdesk now offers three new applications: OLEFA paint (image processing tools), OLEFA schoolmanager (teacher, student and schedule management) and OLEFA teamworker (group management). The database stock management now allows to instantly view stock information for specific users. This is a very interesting features for libraries for example. The network management has been greatly improved and now offers automated client updates (fully compatible with UNIX/Linux, Apple MacOSX and Microsoft Windows clients). New development and check tools offer advanced error/problem detection features to ensure better software quality. Most other modules have been updated at the same time and offer new features to administrators and users, bugfixes, improvements and code enhancements. The new release will be installed on all customer servers within the next few days.
Educdesign SA releases OLEFA 1.5.3
EDUCDESIGN, Bettembourg, Luxembourg - 10, 2005 - EducDesign SA today released their latest version of the OLEFA software (version 1.5.3 | build 5K0314) which introduces OLEFAcalc (a web based spreadsheet application) as part of OLEFAdesk, timesharing management tools, enhanced database management and PDF printing features, new CMS objects (ticker and feed) as well as many other improvements. Most other modules have been updated at the same time and offer new features to administrators and users, bugfixes, improvements and code enhancements. The new release will be installed on all customer servers within the next few days.

EDUCDESIGN, Bettembourg, Luxembourg - 11, 2005 - EducDesign SA today released their latest version of the OLEFA software (version 1.5.5 | build 5L0715) which offers a new full screen administration mode mode. The database manager offers a large number of enhancements: new navigation tools (with direct page selection), the current selection can be reused for further operations, shopping cart orders can be viewed on a dedicated screen (also via network), added new powerful indexing mechanisms for the database engine itself as well as core support for ISMN codes (International Standard Music Number). The profile management has been completely rewritten. The file control editors (ACL, AIM, DME, ISP and CBJ) have been completely rewritten and offer a large number of new features. Both wiki linklists and website attachmenets can be moved up and down (respectively to bottom or top). Most other modules have been updated at the same time and offer new features to administrators and users, bugfixes, improvements and code enhancements. The new release will be installed on all customer servers within the next few days.
Educdesign SA releases OLEFA 1.5.5
EDUCDESIGN, Bettembourg, Luxembourg - 12, 2005 - EducDesign SA today released their latest version of the OLEFA software (version 1.5.5 | build 5M0514). The administration tools now offer a new theme render engine with support for multiple languages. The full screen mode is now working with all available themes. The CMS offers a new 'template designer' application which allows to create website templates without any HTML or OLEFAscript programming, a new 'quality management' screen which allows to keep track of recent changes made to the website, as well as new object layout options. The new OLEFA spellchecker supports english, german, french, luxemburgish, italian and portuguese and is avaiblable within the CMS, wikis and webbooks. OLEFAdesk now offers a portlet manager which allows to display portlets (news readers for example) on your desktop. The directory and file management offers multiple interface enhancements and the OLEFAdesk framework has been prepared for multiple language support (english, german and french). The desktop theme can now be customized by the user. Webbooks now supports OLEFA ACLs and AIMs which means that a single webbook can now be edited by multiple users at the same time. It is now also possible to read-protect webbooks. Website access statistics generated by 'Webalizer' are now directly accessible within the administration tools. The database manager statistics screen offers new views such as 'most pupular items' for example.
